IMSEA 2025 Local Organizing Committee Updates

 

Registration

Conference registration is now open, with the early-bird registration deadline set for July 31st. Please visit https://www.imsea2025.org/registration-update for details. Attendees who are not presenting papers at IMSEA 2025 are also warmly invited to register and participate in the conference.

Transportation from Nanning Wuxu Airport to Downtown Nanning

​​

a) Conference Shuttle Service: The Local Organizing Committee will provide six complimentary shuttle services from Nanning Wuxu Airport to the designated conference hotels on September 18. To help us coordinate departure times, please email your flight arrival details in advance to imsea2025@163.com. Volunteers will greet you at the airport and guide you to the shuttle buses, which will take you to one of the official conference hotels at no cost.

b) Airport Shuttle BusDuration:  Approx. 1 hour 20 minutes; Fare: ¥20 RMB (one-way)

c) Taxi Duration: Approx. 50 minutes; Fare: ¥125 RMB (one-way);Taxis are available at the official taxi queue outside the airport terminal.

 

Accommodation

The conference has arranged discounted group rates at the following two hotels:

 

a) Lakeside Hotel Nanning (南湖名都大酒店)

• Room Type: King Bed (180 cm) and Standard Room

• Breakfast: Complimentary buffet (25 dishes)

• Café: Located in the lobby (1st floor)

• Booking Period: July 15 – August 25, 2025

• Special Rate: 10% discount on regular rate / Total Price: ¥2,400 RMB for 4 nights (Sept. 18–21)

• Booking Instructions: Please download and complete the Hotel Room Booking Form, then email it to IMSEA2025@163.com. We will reserve your room at a discounted rate, and you can make the payment directly at the hotel reception upon check-in. • Room Type: King Bed (180 cm) and Standard Room

• Special Rate: 10% discount on regular rate / Total Price: ¥1,220 RMB for 4 nights (Sept. 18–21)

Cultural Tour – September 22, 2025

Thanks to the generous support of Guangxi Arts University, all registered participants (with paid registration) are invited to join a complimentary cultural tour on September 22. The tour includes bus transportation, lunch, and entry ticket to visit two scenic destinations:

Dongnayuwan Scenic Area 峒那屿湾 (https://www.trip.com/moments/detail/daxin-963-125290558/) and Mingshi Rural Scenic Area 明仕田园 (https://www.trip.com/travel-guide/attraction/daxin/mingshi-rural-84842/). We will depart at 7:30 AM from the two hotels and return at approximately 5:00 PM. Please indicate in your Room Reservation Form if you plan to join our tour.

Additional Informationa

​

a) Daily Shuttle Service: From September 19 to 21, shuttle buses will depart daily at 8:00 AM from our hotels to Guangxi Arts University campus (approx. 15 minutes by bus, 40 minutes on foot). Return shuttles will be provided in the late afternoon.

​

b) Meals and Coffee Breaks: During the conference, light lunch and dinner, along with coffee breaks, will be provided free of charge.
